Sunshine!

The last few days have been fabulous for walking Oscar. Sunshine and blue skies! It's been lovely walking by the canal each night. Even the mud is getting less and less! 

There are signs of new life everywhere, from lambs jumping around in the fields ....

 

.....to new plants growing - with bluebells appearing ....

.....and I even saw a swan sitting on a nest today! 

I see all sorts of wildlife now on our canal walk. I saw rabbits in a field yesterday, and there are always plenty of birds around. It's wonderful. 

Back home I caught this cheeky blackbird munching away just a few feet from me this morning. They don't even bother much with Oscar now in the garden! 

My veggies are growing nicely now too. After realising I was late sowing the seeds, I now have tomato and cucumber seedlings....

I've finished off yet another freestanding wedding countdown heart .....

 

......and made a banana and chocolate chip cake (which is half gone already!)

And it's only Wednesday!!
