Holding Page

Welcome to my blog!
I've decided to set this up to share a little bit about the walks that we do, what books I read and basically our life in general. I intend to keep adding different links and information along the way, so please come back from time to time and see what there is, and feel free to comment on anything.

Poor Hamish

Our motor home was ready to be collected on Friday. The garage rang me Friday morning and we went to pick it up Friday night. Yay! All fixed and ready to go. Or so we thought......

The sad news is that our poor Hamish (motor home) is having to go back to the garage tomorrow. It broke down while DH was driving it yesterday and he had to be towed home. We've no idea what's wrong with it this time. We can only hope that it can be fixed in time for us to go away in it.

That's the sad news. The good news is that I had more crafting time at the end of last week and have a couple more wedding countdowns finished in time for next weekend.

I've also done an alternative freestanding countdown .....

I'm currently working on a gold one too.

And today has been a bit of a chill day. We took Oscar out for a walk further down the canal this afternoon, and did some geocaching along the way!

Although the sun was shining and it got quite warm at times, there was a lot of mud around. Poor Oscar came home black yet again!

While on the hunt for one of the geocaches I was climbing through twigs and branches and checking inside trees. And then I saw this ......

I'm guessing she was sitting on a nest so I very quickly moved away and left her alone. She looked very settled there.

And back to work again tomorrow.

These weekends go far too quickly!
