September already!

Where has this year gone? How can we be in September already, when we're still waiting for some kind of summer?! Is that it for this year then? Back to the winter woollies now? And the nights! How quickly it's getting dark at night now. Before you know it, it'll be Christmas! 

Talking of the festive season, I've been adding a few bits to my craft stuff with a wintery theme, along with a few fun bits. 

I'm also busy making more hanging plaques at the moment. And then probably some more jewellery. I'm just loving the painting for now though. 

Only one more day left at the day job this week before being off for a week too. Hurray! It's a bit strange as we don't normally take the beginning of September off work, but DD is off to Spain for a week, so we're off the same week. 

It's all about a work-life balance you see ....... being off work is good for you to recharge your batteries. Seems I need to do that quite a lot to keep the balance........
